Color of Cambodia, Clay Expression, Honey Child Dev.Centre, Kinrara Metta Buddhist Society, Puchong [KMBS] are jointly organising Art Charity Exhibition event to be exhibit at Dessert's Bar & Studio, Lot K-01-03 Soho KL, 2 Jalan Solaris, Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur from 2nd Nov to 29 Nov 2008 as part of the KMBS Building Funds Raising activity and at the same time contribute toward a noble cause to the poor Cambodian children and Myanmar Cyclone Disaster Fund under our Spiritual Advisor, Ven. B.Sri Saranankara Nayaka Maha Thera's request.
There will be Hi-Tea Activity on 4 weekends planned in conjunction with this Art Charity Exhibition with the Official Opening Day on 2nd. Nov 2008. Hi-Tea time is from 1.00 p.m. ~ 4.00 p.m The cost of the Hi-Tea ticket is RM50 per person and is available at Dessert's Bar & Studio, Solaris Mont Kiara, KL. I need the support from all your contacts to make this event a meaningful one. We need to get our KMBS building soonest possible in view of the limited space and the accelerated building material cost and the current slow economy. No Hi-Tea event) Venue: Dessert's Bar & Studio, Lot K-01-03 & K-01-04, Soho KL, 2 Jalan Solaris, Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Honey Child Development Centre (HDCC), Clay Expressions (CE), Colours of Cambodia (CoC) and Kinrara Metta Buddhist Society Building Fund (KMBSBF), represented 4 Non-Governmental Organisations that have come together to organise a joint Art Exhibitions for the purpose of raising funds for the noble cause. The Objective Of This Art Exhibition Is To :- 1) Raise funds for 3 noble and charitable NGOs, namely Color of Cambodia, Myanmar Cyclone Disaster Fund and Kinrara Metta Buddhist Society Building Fund 2) To promote the noble union of warm loving hands and pure and joyful giving heart. 3) To promote the value of art to children and parents. ABOUT US Honey Children Development Centre (Pusat Tuisyen Sri Madu, Pusat Bandar Puchong) Is a child Development Centre dedicated to providing a ideal environment to develop children's creativity and skill in Art and broden their interest in learning. The centre also endeavors to create a caring environment through using art to share their creativity with others such as this fund raising. HCDC strongly emphasizes the importance of instilling noble values such as grace, elegrance, respect and sharing as a way to develop the children. Clay Expression http://www.clayexpression.com Is an Art Centre wilth a flaming passion dedicated to educate childrens and adults in transforming clay into objects of inspiration. It was established in Malaysia in the year 2001 with objective of creating a friendly and comfortable space (ceramic studio) for Malaysians to develop and create artistic ideas in term of clay, fire and water. Colors of Cambodia http://www.a-difference.org Is an organisation dedicated to teaching art to under privileged children of Cambodia. Children of all ages participate in this program and gifted students are given the opportunity of advanced training. The student's art work are sold a Color of Cambodia Gallery in Seam Reap and all proceeds are channeled to the participating schools to assist children in their varied educational needs. Kinrara Metta Buddhist Society, Puchong (KMBS) http://www.kinrarametta.org Is a young and dynamic organisation that brings Dhamma to the Buddhist community of Kinrara, Puchong and its surrounding area. KMBS has laid the foundation for creating a community of wholesome individuals and family institution that promot good noble values in accordance with the teaching of the Lord Buddha. Myanmmar Cyclone Disaster Fund To raise funds for ongoing cyclone relief work. There is much to be done such as houses, schools(education), food and medicine. Proceeds will be chanelIed through the Sri Lanka Buddhist Temple in Sentul, KL We humbly appeal to your generous heart to support this noble and worthy cause.
